Description

The darkness is coming!

Evil spirits have stolen your mystical carrot, and with it, the last source of light. Shadows creep closer with every passing moment. You must find your carrot before the darkness consumes everything. But beware — the spirits are hunting you. Keep your flashlight alive with fresh batteries to hold back the void. Nature will guide you — look out for strange anomalies. They may lead you to power… or peril.

Your journey begins now.

Instructions

Over time, your flashlight dims, shrinking your field of view. To survive:

  • Collect batteries to recharge and slow the darkness.
  • Avoid enemies—getting caught drains your energy.
  • Stay above water—going underwater rapidly depletes your flashlight charge.

Your goal is to find the glowing carrot hidden in each level. Anomalies—unusual objects or landmarks—often appear near the carrot and batteries. Investigate these areas closely.

With each level:

  • Your maximum battery capacity decreases.
  • Enemies become faster and more aggressive.

The game features 12 handcrafted levels, followed by an Endless Mode with randomized carrot and battery spawn points. The early levels are intentionally simple, designed to help players ease into the world and gameplay with nearly unlimited battery power.

Controls

  • W,A,S,D to move
  • Spacebar to Jump
  • Mouse to look around
  • P to Pause

Used Bundles

Known Issues

  • The game asks for network-permissions on startup - there must be some Online-Platform Plugin enabled by default. Just decline it - the game has no online functionality.
  • Bad Perfomance on older Computers
  • Changing the resolution requires a restart or to set the WindowMode again
  • Enemies are sometimes not fully visible, if no close object is behind them

Minimum Requirements

The game is mainly considerably heavy on GPU because I had no time for optimizations. Tested it with a GTX1650 and got it running at 40 FPS
